The St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope, and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.

The St Vincent de Paul Society aspires to be recognised as a caring Catholic charity offering “a hand up” to people in need. We do this by respecting their dignity, sharing our hope, and encouraging them to take control of their own destiny.

Vinnies services and programs are more vital than ever for vulnerable Western Australians. Whether it is through emotional support, financial advice, help with food, clothing, and furniture, or advocacy, members walk alongside our clients every step of the way. In addition to our emergency assistance, Vinnies delivers a range of highly specialised services and programs focused on improving the lives of thousands of Western Australians. These include a recovery-focused mental health service, homelessness services that remove barriers and build pathways for the most vulnerable people in our community, housing services, programs for young people, financial counselling, and our retail and distribution centre operations. Vinnies is a proudly volunteer-run organisation. They are the very essence of the organisation and are change-makers in the Western Australian Community. Each year, Vinnies volunteers assist over 55,000 people in need in WA. So, join the team and be part of something special.
