Catholic Mission, as the Australian agency of the Pontifical Mission Society, celebrates 200 years of the mission.  It contributes funding and provides project support to critical church-run initiatives by working with communities through Propagation of the Faith, working with children through the Society of the Holy Childhood or Children’s Mission, working with church leaders through Society of St Peter the Apostle, and mission formation through the Pontifical Mission Union.  We support dioceses in Africa, Asia, Oceania, and South America as well as remote dioceses within Australia. 

Catholic Mission creates opportunities for people to be formed in mission and respond with prayer, fundraising, and action by supporting our appeals such as World Mission Month, Socktober, monthly committed gifts, and our life-giving gifts.  Only through gifts of generosity are we able to continue our work.
