From 7.30 to 9.30 pm on every first Friday, there will be contemplative Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Cathedral, during which we pray personally and together for vocations to the priesthood, especially for the Geraldton Diocese, and for vocations to religious life.

Recognizing the need to pray for vocations locally and beyond, other beautiful prayers are included, honouring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament: naming many aspects of the Eucharist; we also honour St Joseph, who lived with and protected Mary our mother, and Jesus who is our Protector also. Concluding with Benediction, this is a privileged time, involving heart and mind in adoration, petition, and love for the good of all.
