Catholic Women’s League
Menu
Catholic Women’s League is an organisation dedicated to upholding the dignity of women through education and encouraging their participation in social and public life. The CWLA promotes the spiritual, social, cultural, and intellectual formation of women. CWLA also advocates for the respect of human rights with a particular focus on women and children.
Inspired by the example of our founding sisters both in Australia and internationally, our vision is to create a more just society through prayer and action. Our hope is that more women, young and old, will join us in the service of the Lord.
“I believe in the genius of women. Even in the darkest periods that genius is found, which is the leaven of human progress and history”. St. Pope John Paul II
The Geraldton Branch is always eager to welcome new and old faces. If no meeting details are below email Jan to find out where and when we are going to meet next. We are still collecting wool (new, used, scraps) and warm materials to help support the Knit Wits as well as personal care items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary items, etc. for people in need. If you are able to help, please leave donations at the Parish Office to be collected.
